A Tradition of Teaching
सदाशिवसमारम्भां शङ्कराचार्यमध्यमाम् ।
अस्मदाचार्यपर्यन्तां वन्दे गुरुपरम्पराम् ॥
sadāśivasamārambhāṁ śaṅkarācāryamadhyamām  |
asmadācāryaparyantāṁ vande guruparamparām  ||
Eu saúdo a linhagem de mestres que se inicia com o sempre auspicioso Deus Śiva,
passa por Śaṅkarācārya e se estende até o meu mestre.

The Guru-śiṣya-paramparā is the knowledge flowing in a beginningless and continuous stream unfolding the wisdom of oneself to humanity. The sacred relationship between a traditional teacher and the student allows one to learn and handle the teaching methodology in the right way.

I would like to bring light to the life of contemporary Masters who have tremendously influenced my own spiritual journey, they are and were my teachers who guided me and brought the flame of knowledge to my life. I bow to these profound teachers and place my infinite gratitude for all that I received from this Paramparā, sacred lineage.

Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati

Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati was a distinguished, traditional teacher of Vedanta. His depth of understanding and nuanced appreciation of both Eastern and Western cultures made him that rare teacher who could communicate the vision of non-duality to modern listeners. He was able to make one see, with immediacy, the truth of oneself as the whole.

A teacher of teachers, Swamiji designed and taught six in-depth Vedanta courses, each spanning 30 to 36 months and eight more have been conducted with his guidance. The graduates from these courses are now acharyas, teaching around the world. More than two hundred are sannyasis and are highly respected as scholars and teachers throughout India and abroad.

Swami Paramarthananda Saraswati

Swami Paramarthananda is a senior disciple of Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati and Sri Swami Chinmayananda.

Swamiji teaches extensively in Chennai and also to his students in Coimbatore and Bangalore. His style of rendering the lectures with simplicity will make anyone and everyone comprehend Advaita easily. His lifestyle has also been a teaching and blessing to his students at Chennai and across the world.

Sri Swami Vagishananda Saraswati

Sri Swami Vagishananda is a senior disciple of Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati and has been teaching and studying Vedanta philosophy for the past 40 years.

Swamiji was in his teens when he became fascinated with mystical poetry an non dualistic philosophies. In 1975 at the age of 19, he left from the U.S.A to India to study in a traditional Gurukulam. After graduating from a three year residential course of Vedanta and Sanskrit language, he attended the four subsequent three year courses in the United States and India and has continually studied Sanskrit and advanced Vedanta texts.

Swamiji has an immediate rapport with children of all ages, as well as a special gift of being a bridge to help second generation Indian/American youth to see the value of universal values such as non-injury, truthfulness, etc.

Having studied the Krsna Yajur Veda under the Vedic Pandit, Sri Ganapathigal Ravichyandran Aiyar and other teachers over many years he gained mastery of Vedic chanting. Over the years he has conducted many children’s camps, adult seminars, and Vedanta classes in the USA, Canada, UK and Australia.
